Frequently Asked Questions

We know choosing the right care can feel overwhelming. That’s why we’ve put together answers to the most common questions — so you feel confident every step of the way.

General Questions

Hum Hai Na is not just a service – it’s your voice, presence, and love when you can’t be there. We offer emotional companionship and practical help for parents so they never feel alone.

We provide companionship and assistance between 9 AM–7 PM, the hours when parents feel the most alone and miss their children the most.

Activities like games, hobbies, outings, and religious visits engage seniors mentally and socially, enhancing their quality of life.

Why Hum Hai Na is Unique

24/7 staff give assistance. We give companionship. We bring conversation, laughter, and emotional connection – the things staff can’t replace and children can’t always provide due to distance.

Even in joint families, parents can feel invisible in the rush of life. We make them feel heard, valued, and emotionally fulfilled.

We are an emotional movement. Our focus is companionship, dignity, and presence.

Live-in help handles daily routines but often lacks emotional connection or structured care. Hum Hai Na provides premium daytime companionship with trained, verified companions who focus on emotional well-being, dignity, and engaging parents in active, joyful routines.

Maids handle chores; we handle hearts. Our companions are not task-focused; they are relationship-focused. They listen, talk, accompany parents to doctors, and create emotional security – things household staff are neither trained nor intended to do.

Nursing is about medical care. We are about emotional care. Our focus is keeping parents active, engaged, happy, and supported in daily life. We complement nursing care, not replace it.

Personal hires lack verification, training, and oversight. Hum Hai Na provides police-verified companions, strict quality monitoring, and real-time family updates – ensuring safety and trust that individual hires can’t guarantee.

Independence doesn’t mean absence of loneliness. Even active parents value emotional connection, conversations, and safe assistance for errands or doctor visits. Our service adapts to light-touch companionship without making parents feel dependent.

Apps connect you to vendors. We connect hearts. Our companions are not transactional; they become a familiar face, a trusted friend, and a second family. Technology supports us, but care is always human-first.

Even when family lives in the same city, work and life keep everyone busy. Hum Hai Na fills the emotional and practical gaps during the day, making sure parents never feel like an afterthought. We complement family, not replace it.

Our companions are trained to build trust gently, never imposing “help.” Parents feel like a friend came over, not a service provider. Most parents open up within the first few visits because of our emotional-first approach.

These are the hours parents are most active, running errands, attending appointments, and needing companionship. We focus on quality daytime engagement instead of stretching to 24 hrs and compromising care standards.

Safety & Trust

Every companion is verified, background-checked, and trained in empathy and respect. We enter your parents’ home as family, not staff.

We understand the fear. That’s why we share detailed profiles, conduct video introductions, and keep transparent updates with children.
